Micro-Epsilon CT Series Non Contact IR Sensor

The CT series are noncontact infrared temperature sensors. They calculate the surface temperature based on the emitted infrared energy of objects [Basics of Infrared Thermometry]. The sensor housing of the CT sensor is made of stainless steel (IP 65/ NEMA-4 rating) - the sensor electronics is placed in a separate box made of die casting zinc.

BINARY LEVEL SENSORS

The unit operates to the capacitive measuring principle. By direct contact with the medium the unit detects whether the requested level (limit level) is reached and indicates this by a switched signal. The dielectric constant of a medium is important for its detection. Media with a dielectric constant > 1.8 are safely detected.
